Denise is a multi-faceted musician based in the greater Indianapolis area with extensive experience in clarinet performance, private lesson teaching, musicology, arts administration, and library work. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in clarinet performance with a minor in general business from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI, and a Masters's in Music History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate in musicology at the University of Kansas where she has already received a certificate in Music Enterprise.
